ABOUT OUR EVENT:

Let's gather together, create connections, and see what's being experienced around a certain topic. You're probably not the only one feeling the way you feel... and you don't have to go through it alone.

- Share ideas and experiences.
- Discover different ways of thinking or acting.
- Leave feeling connected and maybe even with something to explore: a thought, something to do, something to stop doing, someone to connect with further.

It won't be super formal. There are no presentations or workshops.
There will be light snacks.

RSVP for address. It will be emailed a couple days before the event and posted in our Impact Member Facebook Group.

ABOUT OUR HOST:

Jessica Lucey became a yoga teacher in 2017 to give people a little oasis of time and connection where you can relax, explore movement, choose what you do with your body, and have permission to make "mistakes". She is constantly learning and finding ways to make yoga accessible, applicable to life off the mat, and fun.

Her training focuses on teaching older adults, adapting practice for folks with limited flexibility, providing yoga wellness education, preventing burnout, and supporting people through menstrual cycles and menopause. You can expect classes that are vinyasa based with functional movement linked with breath. You’re invited to get curious about what’s actually going on inside your body and play. When Jessica’s not teaching, you can find her exploring the outdoors, traveling around the world, or relaxing with a cup of tea and her journal.

ABOUT OUR LOCATION:

Tami's house is in a neighborhood in north Loveland. There is free street parking with no time limit.

There a a few small steps on the way to the front door. After that, our gathering location and the bathroom is located on the first level of the house.

Food/snack options will include options for folx who are vegetarian, gluten free, and dairy free.

EVENT FLOW:

  • Settle in (5 min)
  • Welcome and introductions (10 min)
  • Group conversation (65 min). Our conversation is centered around a topic voted on prior to this event. We'll share what we're experiencing, allow for nuance, listen, and discuss things to explore or experiment with around our topic.
  • Make specific connections (10 min). This is a time to get someone's contact info if you don't have it yet, set up one-on-one conversations, or catch up with a friend you haven't seen in a while.
