Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s for you at 6:30PM on the upcoming scheduled TUESDAY EVENING.

Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.

SCHEDULE:
Please arrive early if purchasing a beverage or snack prior to writing.

6:30 - Quick introductions
6:45 - Timer starts: write for 1 hour
7:45 - The End: chat, take off, or keep writing
7:45 - Optional: Stay to learn about upcoming events, additional special events, and some surprise opportunities in store.

OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens at 7:45PM. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. We invite, and even encourage, you to stay and chat with other attendees

BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check-in with me after the session. (I’ll be the person with the Shut Up & Write! sign.) If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer.

What Should I Bring?
Whatever you need to be able to write!
Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to block the cafe’s overhead music or the occasional conversation by other patrons.

Charging stations are available at this location, but it’s always a good idea to be prepared and come with your laptops, notebooks, and notepads fully charged.

Other Important Details:

We recommend you have your writing saved and stored locally in the event the Wi-Fi becomes unavailable.
