Bike Parking Event: 49ers Vs Raiders
Details
๐ Help Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition (SVBC) run our secure bike parking valet at Levi's Stadium for the Niners vs Raiders game. By volunteering, you will be supporting attendees to choose sustainable transit and enjoy the event worry-free.
No prior experience is necessary and a meal is provided to our volunteers. We will provide a brief orientation at the start of each shift so you feel comfortable and ready to go.
Volunteer Roles
- Greeter & Tag Attendant: Welcome arriving cyclists, hand them a claim stub, and attach matching numbered tags to their bikes.
- Corral Marshall: Move bikes safely into the secure parking area and organize them by tag numbers.
Shift Details
- We will need your help from 10am and 1:00pm on November 8th for the first several hours before Kick-Off. This volunteer shift ends once the game begins, though you are more than welcome to stay for the whole day.
What SVBC Provides & Volunteer Perks
- Simple on-site training session before your shift begins
- Verification of community service hours
- Boxed lunch provided - vegetarian options included.
What to Bring
- Comfortable close-toed shoes for standing and walking
- Reusable water bottle to stay hydrated
Location & Arrival
The best way to find us is to bike towards Levi's Stadium along the San Tomas Aquino Creek Trail. If you don't have access to a bike at this time, you can park at the River Oaks VTA station and take the train to Levi's, then walk to Gate C.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled shift starts.
RSVP here on Meetup so we can lock in our volunteer count, and leave a comment below if you have any questions before event day.๐
