What we’re about
Not just another Meetup, the Silicon Valley OD Network (SiliconValleyODNetwork.com), previously known as SBODN (South Bay OD Network) is Silicon Valley’s change leader community for 25 years. Our goal is to Connect, Engage and Inspire professionals responsible for implementing change in the organizations that are leading the global business transformation ! Our members have been responsible for driving change in organizations big & small and we are a platform to enable them to expand their knowledge and network connections.
Our “First Monday” monthly events have been a gathering place for internal and external organization development consultants, HR business partners, coaches, managers and change practitioners since 1987. We pride ourselves on creating a casual setting to meet like minded professionals and learn about emerging trends and insightful best practices from the best minds in the field.
No membership fee required!!
Jeff Richardson – SBODN Director
“I joined SBODN after moving to Silicon Valley in 2001. I loved the people and the learning opportunities, so continued to plug in when ever possible. Taking on the role of Webinar Coordinator in 2009, enabled me to help Rosella and Krista expand the SBODN vision to include virtual attendees at our monthly and web-only events. Selected to take over in 2011, I’m honored to continue the tradition by bringing high impact learning and networking opportunities to the SBODN community!”
The History…
The South Bay OD Network was started by Jerry Talley to spark conversations among OD professionals working for Silicon Valley companies. Jerry ran the organization until 2006. Rossella Derrickson and Krista Henley were the second set of directors to champion the organization, expanding nationally by broadcasting live events and web-only events through emerging webinar technology. Myself and Cherie Del Carlo took over in 2011 with visions of expanding internationally and building impactful partnerships with other associations with shared visions for the future.
