This is an off-road/gravel/dirt location with short, gentle hills. It’s not a long-distance ride. We’ll stay near the parking lot and may do a few short rides.

Meet at Byxbee Park's main parking lot by the restroom. If the parking lot is full, additional parking is available near the duck pond about 0.5 mile away. From there, you can ride to the meeting location via a dirt trail. https://maps.app.goo.gl/2M8d22623bpXWaLWA

SKILLS

This location is not suitable for early beginners. It’s best for unicyclists who are transitioning from paved surfaces to dirt and want to practice climbing and descending hills. Riders should be able to free mount.

EQUIPMENT

A mountain-specific unicycle or a unicycle with knobby tire is recommended.

Helmet is required while riding. Other protective gear (knee/skin guards, elbow pads, gloves, long pants, etc.) is recommended. Let's ride safe.

AGE REQUIREMENTS

If you are under 18, you may attend only if accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian. The parent or guardian must sign up as a participant and list you as their guest.

PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE

You and your guest(s) understand that your photos and videos may be posted by SUVG's members on Meetup.com or other social media websites.

By signing up for this meetup, you and your guest(s) agree to release us (SVUG's organizer, co-organizers and assistant organizers) from claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, now and in the future, arising out of or in any way connected with your participation, transportation to or from, attendance at this meetup. You and your guest(s) also agree that you bear all responsibilities if a person, such as another participant, a passerby or a bystander, is injured or property is damaged caused by your action. You further waive any and all rights and benefits otherwise conferred by any statutory or non-statutory law of any jurisdiction that would purport to limit the scope of a release or waiver. You waive and relinquish all rights and benefits which you have or may have under Section 1542 of the Civil Code of the State of California or any similar provision of the statutory or non-statutory law of any other jurisdiction to the full extent that you may lawfully waive all such rights and benefits.
