According to the recent findings from a survey by Gallup Korea, hiking is the most popular pastime in South Korea.
If you're the kind of person who enjoys the great outdoors, you are in for a treat. There are 20 national parks in Korea for you to choose from, including three marine parks. Korea is truly a hiker's paradise, but other activities can be enjoyed besides hiking. For example, you can take part in watersports or visit ancient historic sites.
