Korea is a paradise for active travellers. Hiking is a national pastime and there are trails for all abilities all over the country. Hiking is more than just a pastime in South Korea—it’s a way of life.

According to the recent findings from a survey by Gallup Korea, hiking is the most popular pastime in South Korea.

If you're the kind of person who enjoys the great outdoors, you are in for a treat. There are 20 national parks in Korea for you to choose from, including three marine parks. Korea is truly a hiker's paradise, but other activities can be enjoyed besides hiking. For example, you can take part in watersports or visit ancient historic sites.
