稻城亚丁是片神秘、魅力无穷的净土，是人类共同斩自然文化遗产。在青藏高原雪山深处一个不易进出的地方，有一个被雪山环抱、非常美丽、和谐宁静的神秘境域，被称为“香巴拉”或“香格里拉”.

Review

Yading 亚丁 in Daocheng 稻城 is a 5A Nature Reserve that covers an area of 1344 sq KM at an average elevation of well over 4000 meters. Daocheng Yading is also known as the world’s “last Shangri-la 最后的香格里拉” hidden in perennially snow-topped mountain peaks, lush virgin forests, deep gorges, stretches of grasslands, scattered serene lakes, authentic hot spring. Inside the Reserve are the 3 holy snow-clad peaks 仙乃日” rising to 6032 meters is the highest. “央迈勇 & “夏诺多吉” both rise to 5958 m. These 3 snow-capped peaks sit in a triangle formation with forested valleys, clear rivers, glacier-fed lakes & abundant wildlife between them. The 3 mountains are worshipped as an embodiment of 3 Bodhisattva: the Bodhisattva of Mercy, Wisdom, and Power, respectively. 终年积雪不化的三座护法神山圣地。藏传佛教中称其为“三怙主雪山”，是藏民心中的神圣之地。

We doing a full-day hike in 亚丁reserve to 2 beautiful high-altitude lakes: Milk lake, 4300 m & 5-color Lake, 4500 m. Another half-day walk to Pearl Lake on the next day.

If anyone still has not adjusted well to the thin air, they can opt for a relaxing 5km walk down on platforms along a scenic river to the colourful Chonggu Grassland. This is good for those not used to trekking in thin air.

Almost extraterrestrial: 墨石公园 Moshi Park scenic area in SW China's Sichuan Province, is the only plateau stone forest landscape in the country at about 3,000-3,500 m above sea level. Affected by the air humidity, the colour of the mylonite forest would change according to the weather. Click for video

碧峰峡 beside Panda Research Base is a breeding facility, it has drastic scenic valleys & pretty waterfalls. We'll walk ~ 10 km walk thru its scenic natural valley along its beautiful rivers. Click for video

Xinduqiao 新都桥 is a picturesque small Tibetan town & famous for its plateau pasture scenery, with vivid green grassland, streams, mountains, and Tibetan counting houses surrounding it.

Managing the altitude challenge & AMS has always been our focus & expertise gathered over the years. As we go higher, our experienced guide will observe & monitor each one on any symptoms of AMS and advise. Rest assured you are in good hands.

▬ Who is suitable? ▬
People who are active & healthy - prior experience in high altitude will be useful but not necessary. This will give you a good idea thin air effect above 3000 m. Good fitness is advised & able to take cold with proper wear. Trekking up the 2 holy lakes will have steep slopes/steps - the only tough part of the whole trip.

You should not have any medical conditions related to blood, lungs or hearts & should be living an active lifestyle. There are NO requirements that you must do a > 3000 m trip before. With proper preparation, AMS can be managed even for anyone who has never made a high-altitude trip.

A detailed briefing will be conducted for confirmed travellers, especially on coping with AMS.

D5 : 香格里拉镇➖亚丁景区 (full day 11 km hike to 2 colourful lakes)
D6 : 第二次进入亚丁景区➖稻城县 (5 km hike to Pearl Lake)
D7 : 稻城➖新都桥
D8 : 新都桥➖成都
