The snow-capped Celestial Mountains of Central Asia dominate the spectacular landscape of Kyrgyzstan, and the alpine scenery is truly breathtaking, but it's the cultural encounters with the Kyrgyz that make this trip unforgettable.
Kyrgyzstan is a world-class trekking destination, on par with countries like Nepal, Georgia & Peru! It is 90% covered in mountains, which means that endless trekking trails will be appropriate for your hiking experience and fitness level. It's the Tien Shan mountains that are the real scenic draw of Kyrgyzstan.
The landscape is extremely diverse, shifting from variegated desert to verdant steppe to soaring mountains. The people are also among the coolest that you'll meet when we stay in their Yurt – they are truly nomadic and are very capable in their habitats.

What is special about our trips?
Similar to Thailand & Mongolia, we worked with CBT partners. The basic principle of CBT is to support local communities & sustainable eco-tourism.
