HIGHLIGHT # 1️⃣ Tiger Leaping Gorge [Scenic section]
5 km, 4-hour easy hike for all levels.
This is one of the deepest and most dramatic gorges in the world, carved by the powerful Jinsha River (upper Yangtze) between the Haba Snow Mountain (5,396 m) and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (5,596 m). Hiking on our selected section rewards you with the best views of both legendary mountain ranges in China.

HIGHLIGHT # 2️⃣️ 老药山 Laoyao Mountain Hike
3 km, 3-hour easy hike for all levels.
Located between Lijiang & Shangri-La, the short hike offers a peaceful and scenic experience ideal for those seeking nature without a demanding climb. The trail begins near a Ranch at an altitude of around 3,300 meters and winds gently through alpine grasslands and rolling hills. Along the way, hikers are treated to expansive views of highland meadows, distant snow-capped peaks, and quiet solitude far from tourist crowds. One of the highlights is a lone tree near the summit — a popular photo spot with panoramic views. The path is not technically challenging, but the altitude can make it feel more demanding, especially for those who are not yet acclimatised.
老药山 remains relatively undiscovered, making it a perfect choice for a short, serene escape in Yunnan’s highlands.

HIGHLIGHT # 3️⃣ Haba Snow Mountain 哈巴雪山 - 小环线
5 km, 5-hour short hike
The short version of the Haba Loop is a day hike near Haba Snow Mountain, offering stunning alpine scenery without the need for a multi-day trek or summit attempt. It's a great option for hikers looking for a moderate adventure with big views, all within a single day.
Under the starry night and Milky Way, we will be staying in a Glamping site.

Can I join alone?
Yes! You can join the tour with “single room occupancy” by paying an extra fee. Please note that our quoted price is for twin-sharing accommodations for those who participate as a pair. Alternatively, on your request, we can assist in matching you with another single traveller of the same gender. We are unable to & do not guarantee the quality or character of your roommate. Please note that a successful match is not guaranteed, and if we cannot find a match, the single supplement will still apply.

▬ Who is suitable? ▬
Anyone who can walk and short hike of 5-6 km, has an adventurous can-do spirit.
You must not have any medical conditions related to blood, lungs, or heart and should be living an active lifestyle or regularly exercising in any form. There are NO requirements that you have done a trip of more than 3000 m before. With proper preparation, AMS can be managed with our vast experience.
