For several years, our travel club has returned to explore the vibrant, green lands of Ireland and the adventure usually sells out. Needless to say we’ll be going back for round 5 in 2022!

Easy South to North River Vine paved trail. See lot's of birds & other wildlife. Last week I saw a huge Sturgeon leap from the river. There are many side river channels & other trails for us to off main trail exploring.
We will have our WINE picnic at a shaded kayak put in/Boat ramp park.
It's a real nice location with bath rooms, etc.
NOTE: bring a lunch. I;'ll also have 9 different individual wine varietals for any wishing vino. Plus water, juice, tea, energy & protein drinks, other snacks, great Trail bars,& my famous Fruit & Nut packs.
After our picnic we will continue up river & bike into downtown NAPA. if you have never been there since the big earthquake in 2015 ; It has been really transformed. Its quite a buzzing wine , food & entertainment destination.
We can stop in town & walk around & see all the sights along the river front.
From here we will cross the river to see the Northern Napa river area & all the history over the years.
OK; If you need to rent a bike ; its hard to find bike rentals . The bike stores are into selling or renting E-Bikes now. I have one bike store hat still rents bikes. The price : yikes: $55 for all day. ****So bring your own bike or borrow one. The bike store will provide locks & helmets.

Don't even think of seeing all the ho hum fireworks displays . I have been to most of them . S>F is ok if you want to fight the crowds, Fog & parking nightmares.
WE WILL HAVE A TABLE in the shady Sonoma park Square. Close to food & wineries. Ill bring a watermelon the Cornhole game, picnic utensils , water & a variety of snacks. **** BUT; its a Pot Luck. Bring a little of what you like & a $ 5 Buck donation. Meet & make new friends & help celebrate the real( American Independence day. )
Around 9pm we will walk 2 blocks to the huge field location near the hills .The start will be at full sunset or about 9:30. **Bring a very low back chair or something to put under your head ; & a blanket as I just lay in the dry grass. Then kick back & enjoy a full 45 min. of super displays & hear the boomers bunce off the hills. NOTE: They are going to have higher altitude rockets this year so some can see them from farther away.

We meet at Starbucks in the Marin Country Mart. We will carpool from here. Always bring a jacket. No rugged trails so average hiking shoes will do. (Plus option to bring sandals for the beaches.)
First trek to hidden beach is thru lush Cypress forest ; ferns & water bridges & walk ramps. If we get a low tide we may get to view from shore or wade in to see cool small Bat Rays in the less than knee deep shallows. The water is crystal clear & great for photos. With a low tide; cliff caves & shell colonies can be seen up close.
We leave & hike along cliff top forest to our super cliff top picnic location & beautiful beach with beautiful Bay views. (Hard to leave this location)
After our lunch we will head to the 3rd beach thru another cool forest. Then head back on a different trail. ****If time permits I have a special not to far away location for amazing photos. (Not to be missed)
Our last option is always a super fun dinner with new & old friends.
** Bring a lunch. I'll have my buffet along with all the drinks, snacks , gourmet fruit & nut packs , & personal vino mini varietals & more.
