SPRING - 2025
Meetup with 40 plus participants in West Montreal & the West Island, and enjoy a wide variety of social , community and sports activities. We also welcome all interested individuals from all area's of greater Montreal, as well as other locations! If your a 40 plus individual, and need to open some new doors, this is the group for you! All ages are welcome to join us for our events , with the understanding, that the majority of our participants in the social events, are in the 40+ age group! Sports events include the 30 plus age group! Meetup's include Mix & Mingle Dance Parties, Dinner's & Dancing, Brunch's, Arts/Culture, Movies, Comedy nights, Theatre Events , Live Music Events, Music groups, Karaoke Evenings, Cooking Classes, Off Island Activities and various Community Fundraising Events etc . Sports Groups: Tennis, Volleyball, Pickleball, Bowling , League Curling, Golf, Mini-Putt - Cycling , Walking , hiking etc
All the activitives are setup and run by our volunteer organizers with new events being added on a continuous basis. We do ask that you please respect your RSVP!!
WANT TO LEARN HOW TO CURL! This meetup supports the Sunday Curling League ( 1pm ) and the Mixed Day Curling League ( Tuesdays & Thursdays - 12:30pm ) out of the Montreal West Curling Club. This is a SOCIAL tennis group - Novice plus to Intermediate plus - DOUBLES - All levels
Prerequisite: participants should have some tennis skillsets - and know how to count score - no lessons offered -
Note: For those new to Tennis - As much as possible, practice off a wall to develop your eye/hand co-ordination. Learn to score - see following:
POINT SYSTEM- 0 points= Love.
- 1 point = 15.
- 2 points= 30.
- 3 points= 40.
- Tied score= All.
- 40-40 = Deuce.
- Server wins deuce point = Ad-In.
- Receiver wins deuce point = Ad-Out.

The Tuesday/Thursday 09:30 am, and the Sunday 12:30pm timeslots are now underway. No cost, drop-in tennis , participate at your convenience and no text's required!
For the Monday , Wednesday and Friday evenings 7pm timeslots , you must text the coordinator by 05:30pm that you will be participating - again no cost- participate at your convenience.
Start date for Monday evening tennis will be August 11th at 7pm - text Andre at 647-220-5585 by 05:30pm
Start date for Wednesday evening tennis will be August 13th at 7pm - Text Danny at 450-543-6210 by 05:30pm
Tentative start date for Friday evening tennis will be August 15th at 7pm - more information to come...

This is social tennis group of all playing levels. Please follow normal tennis etiquette, and when serving, announce the score to keep the game flowing. Helping out fellow players with their game would also be appreciated
