What Is Pickleball
Pickleball you ask?
It's an OVERSIZED ping pong! Played on a badminton sized court with a tennis sized net.
Seniors love the social aspects and the ability to stay active and fit in towns and retirement villages in every state.Pickleball rules

number of hours per week.

Note: For ongoing updates regarding the summer tennis group , send a email to James at spasource@bell.net and your name will be added to the group's email list!
As previously stated we are waiting on the refurbishment of our regular courts near the Jacque Lemaire hockey arena adjacent to the Lasalle hospital. 🤩 Good News - Work is now underway and we will be back to our regular schedule shortly -
Please Note: For Tuesday and Thursday Mornings at 09:30 am , and Sundays at 12:30pm , weather permitting , the tennis matches - (temporarily ) will now be held at the following location in Lasalle.
Mohawk park in Lasalle H8R 3N6 using Lasalle Blud. Travelling either east or west on Lasalle blud , beside the river, you will pass under or near the Mercier bridge. At the Mercier rail bridge you will turn onto Highlands ave. Drive straight down Highlands ave until you get to Dalmany. The courts are located to your right through the gate. If its raining - stay home. Too dangerous to play on wet courts!
Just a reminder : We are a social tennis group of all calibers , its no cost - drop in tennis - play at your convenience , outdoor facilities only, and we are here until October , when we then switch over to our Winter activity - Sunday Curling out of the Montreal West Curling Club.---------------------------------------------------------------------------
No Cost - Racquet Required
Tuesday & Thursday mornings at 09:30am - Sundays at 12:30pm-
Monday - Wednesday & Friday evenings at 7pm
Beginners please read the following:
Our tennis group starts up in June and everyone is most welcome to oin our group. As we do with our curling group, we will take novices in to the tennis group, and will teach them the game, over the summer months. To get started, purchase a racquet. Start off with a cheaper one and you can then upgrade later, if you wish. Very Important: In the spring, find a wall and practice hitting off that wall to acquire your eye/hand coordination. There will be tennis on different days starting in the spring which you can attend at your convenience. There is no cost to play in our group. I have over 150 people registered for the tennis, and they will receive via email all updates regarding the tennis group. If anyone wants to be included on that list , just send me a email to spasource@bell.net giving me your full name.
Thanks - see you on the courts!
