HIKE: CRNA VICKERY CREEK...ALL THE TRAILS

Come join me on the trails at Vickery Creek Unit of the Chattahoochee NRA. We'll start at Riverside Park near the bathrooms. Free Parking. I believe the address is 575 Riverside Drive, Roswell GA. We will start the hike by walking on a short street to come into the park. We'll return slightly differently.

We'll hike about 6.7 miles at a moderate speed....not a run 2.5 miles per hour. . Please arrive 15 minutes early. I am planning to do ALL THE TRAILS AT VICKERY CREEK, looping back and forth and of course visiting, the dam, waterfalls, covered bridge, etc...again 6.7 miles at a moderate pace of 2.5 mph. Its not the AT but it's not a beginner hike.

Don't forget water, good shoes, layered clothing, snacks,etc. etc.

Water snacks and appropriate clothing.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:
From Northbound U.S. 19/Ga. 400
Take exit 6 for Northridge Road
Stay RIGHT onto Northridge Road crossing bridge
Take first RIGHT onto Dunwoody Place, go 1.3 miles
Turn RIGHT at Ga. 9 (Roswell Road), go 0.6 miles
Cross river turn RIGHT onto Riverside Road, go 1-2 blocks and park in big parking lot on the right.

From Southbound U.S. 19/Ga. 400
Take exit 7 for Ga. 140 (Holcomb Bridge Road)
Turn RIGHT onto Ga. 140 East (Holcomb Bridge Road), go 0.2 mile
Turn LEFT at Dogwood Road, go 1.0 miles
Continue STRAIGHT on Riverside Road, go 1.0 mile
Turn left into big parking area.
