This meetup group is an extension of the main SnowPals’ forum at snowpals@groups.io
SnowPals is an alternative to traditional ski/snowboard clubs for busy Bay Area Professionals founded in 1999 by a few friends who wanted to create a vibrant community consisting of skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels who actively engage in snow sports activities to share in the fun and joy of fresh powder snow.

Join SnowPals to get insiders' tips on all things Tahoe, 1st hand resort/snow conditions, breaking news on lift ticket deals, network with Bay Area professionals, meet people who share your snow sports interests, engage in fun meetups/outings, save money ridesharing to Tahoe, and expand your circle of friends.
Help us create events and get perks: organizers who host events will receive thank you comps to cover their drinks/eats via Venmo or PayPal based on number of participants; we welcome new event hosts. In addition, on the last day of the month, we’ll randomly pick an event organizer to receive an e-gift card to express our appreciation. Please contact tim [at] Snowpals.org if interested.

Please note: the group's name was changed from Ski Pals to Snow Pals to include all snow sports (ski, snowboard, cross-country, telemark, back-country, and snowshoe).

As a common Meetup courtesy, if you're new to the group and planning to cross-post an event from another group, please first check with the organizer. Unsolicited cross-posts will be automatically deleted and the member will be removed.
We encourage SnowPals Members to post their individual trips and/or lunchtime and apres-ski meetups at Tahoe resorts, so that more people can connect on the mountain and also for ride-shares.
Please note: we do not allow solicitations of ski lease memberships or vacation rental postings.
