We will again hold the dining speed dating at 6.30pm with a different menu but on 6 tables of 8 so not so tiring. The men will move every 15 minutes and the ladies can move half way around the tables this time if they wish to be able to chat to the men on the other side of the table.

The menu for the sharing platters coming to the tables for the 6.30pm bookings is:

-chicken satay skewers with satay sauce on the side
-vegetable skewers with pitta bread & humous
- samosas & onion bhajis with mint sauce & sweet chilli jam

-fruit platter
- mini cakes

We are asking for smart dress code so no jeans, t shirts, jumpers or trainers. We won't be insisting on men wearing suits for this one but hopefully you understand what we mean by smart guys.

We'll be holding our BIG Spring Singles Party Max 250 at Birds Hill Golf Club in Maidenhead, SL6 3ST

You need to join our main Meet Up group to appear on the main guest list against the event acting as a photowall for people to find each other after the event. This group is https://www.meetup.com/single-and-social-parties-events-bucks-berks .

Dining Speed Dating £29.50 arrival 6.30pm to sit at 7pm on 6 tables of 8.
The men will move every 15 minutes between tables and the ladies will move 2 places clockwise around the table so everyone sits beside all members of the opposite sex on the table.
The food menu is to be advised but it will be sharing platters served to each table.

£15 Party Only 8.30pm until Midnight with DJ. The party price is a bit less as the hire fee is not quite as expensive as Harleyford.
Nearer the time we will form a female networking WhatsApp group for those coming at 6.30pm and another one for the ladies attending from 8.30pm.

You can just RSVP at this point without booking. You do need to text through name, area you live and year of birth to 07948 417416 though if you would like to book as the places for the earlier intro service do go very fast. I'll start forming a guest list and then contact you after the Feb 7th event at Harleyford for payment for the booking. I'll contact those on the guest list in the order they book as it is only the first 24 of each sex for the dining speed dating from 6.30pm until 8.30pm.
We then take the female bookings to a total of 125 including the party and balance with the men up to the date of the event. The ladies always booking first and we always balance our events by cutting off half way.

This is one amazing venue. So much character and the bar prices are absolutely amazing i.e large glass of wine only £5 and short and mixer only £4.50.

We think it will be fair to all members to alternate between a venue in Bucks and then one in Berks. We have also provisionally booked Chartridge Gold Club in Chesham for June 27th but we are not posting that event just yet.

Regarding The Holiday Club Idea

A lady attended our quiz night last week and was chatting to a friend of mine. They were talking about wanting to go on holiday but they didn't want to go on their own. If this is your situation please text me on 07948 417416 with full name and area you live. Please say it is about the holiday club.

I thought I could form a WhatsApp group which would include both sexes. Please be aware though guys that this is not a dating App so it isn't to message ladies direct to ask them out if you just have their number in the group. You need to meet them and then maybe suggest exchanging numbers in person if there seems to be a mutual connection between you both. The idea of this WhatsApp Holiday Club group is for you to message in the group with destination suggestions and maybe you could have a social where you all get together to discuss arrangements and break the ice before you go away.
We are suggesting maybe getting away together this Christmas or the first two weeks of July in 2026. This is before the children break up after this time and the prices should be cheaper as not the peak holiday time.

I am not arranging the holiday by the way. This is for members to do amongst themselves via the WhatsApp Holiday Club.

I think this could be a good idea for members. We already have two ladies to launch the group.
