About us
This is a group for all those who have the desire to travel near and far and have fun making new friends whilst doing so. The aim of this group is to put up a varied selection of holidays and short breaks to suit all individuals and pocket. I enjoy putting trips together in a cost effective way, why pay more joining a tour when you can do the same at a fraction of the cost. There is no doubt that certain places do need a proper organised guide but why not find a good price by booking just that little bit early. As a member of this group you are all most welcome to make suggestions for any trip you think may be of interest to others. It would be nice to get to know other members on a regular basis so that we are not total strangers when we decide to travel together, therefore, we shall have a monthly get together for drinks. This is why I have named this group the 50+ Social Travellers.

BIG Spring Singles Party Max 250 in Maidenhead Sat April 25th
Birds Hill Golf Club, Drift Road Hawthorn Hill, SL6 3ST, Maidenhead, GBWe'll be holding our BIG Spring Singles Party Max 250 at Birds Hill Golf Club in Maidenhead.
Dining Speed Dating £29.50 arrival 6.30pm to sit at 7pm on 6 tables of 8. This will be for the first 24 of each sex to book.
Text full name, area you live and year of birth to 07948 417416 if you would like to book. Please DON'T RSVP unless you have paid for your ticket as we will need to move this to not attending. The photowall needs to show only those definitely booked.

The men will move every 15 minutes between tables and the ladies will move to the opposite side of the table in the middle of each 15 minute session so that all 24 ladies sit next to all 24 men before the dining speed dating finishes at 8.30pm.
The menu served to each table for April 25th is:
2 platters containing sandwiches, vegetable samosas, sausage rolls, hot mini steak & ale pies, vegetable & cheese quiches, battered king prawns with chilli jam, chicken goujons, mini scotch eggs , vegetarian Gyoza
Also 4 pizza - 2 margherita, 1 veggie & one pepperoni.£13 Party Only 8.30pm until Midnight with DJ. The party price is a bit less as the hire fee is not quite as expensive as Harleyford.
Nearer the time we will form a female networking WhatsApp group for those coming at 6.30pm and another one for the ladies attending from 8.30pm. Men you can come at 8pm as there will be 3 of us introducing at the bar. The DJ will only play background music until 9pm to give everyone an hour to get mixing and chatting.
Men aren't interested in male networking beforehand we have found over the years, but they do want to chat to each other when they arrive we have noticed. Coming to these events is a great way to make new single male friends to accompany you to future events.This is one amazing venue. So much character and the bar prices are absolutely amazing i.e large glass of wine only £5 and short and mixer only £4.50. The function area inside the main club house also has a seated terraced area outside the back which will be lovely if the weather is nice.
We will again have DJ John Johnny who is great at creating an amazing atmosphere at events. You are welcome to pass on messages via us the day after the event.
