About us

This is a group for all those who have the desire to travel near and far and have fun making new friends whilst doing so. The aim of this group is to put up a varied selection of holidays and short breaks to suit all individuals and pocket. I enjoy putting trips together in a cost effective way, why pay more joining a tour when you can do the same at a fraction of the cost. There is no doubt that certain places do need a proper organised guide but why not find a good price by booking just that little bit early. As a member of this group you are all most welcome to make suggestions for any trip you think may be of interest to others. It would be nice to get to know other members on a regular basis so that we are not total strangers when we decide to travel together, therefore, we shall have a monthly get together for drinks. This is why I have named this group the 50+ Social Travellers.

Caravan short break in West Sussex

So here we are for a third year another midweek caravan break. You will need to be quick on this one and book asap, its a lovely place i heard near the beach and St Leonard's and Hastings not far away. This break is for interests of walking and exploring new towns eating out and enjoying any entertainment along the way. Its so affordable still off peak at £55.00 first week in June for four nights in your own caravan.

Who wants to spend over £50 to £100 a night in a hotel, they can charge more or less what they want. Caravanning is still very much underrated,its not perfect but it acceptable at this price even the saver caravan. Some of the sites have Yurts and Safari Tents which you can check to see if suitable.

BIG Summer Singles Party in Maidenhead Sat June 27th

We had the best atmosphere we have had at an event since we started the club in Bucks & Berks at Birds Hill Golf Club in Maidenhead where we can take Max 250

(We will be at this venue after Sat June 27th on Sat August 29th, Sat October 31st for the Halloween Party and Sat Dec 5th for our early Christmas Party.
PLEASE DO NOT RSVP FOR JUNE 27th IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY PAID FOR YOUR TICKET.

£29.50 Dining Speed Dating 6.30pm .
8 tables of 6 next time with 4 tables in the adjoining room and 4 tables in the other room so more spaced out. The men will still sit on all 8 tables.

£13 Party Only 7.45pm until Midnight with DJ.
We will have introducers at the bar from 7.45pm until 8.15pm when soft background music will be playing. This is the best time to come if you wish to get mixing before the party livens up at 8.30pm.

This is one amazing venue. So much character and the bar prices are absolutely amazing i.e large glass of wine only £5 and short and mixer only £4.50 - more like Wetherspoon prices!. The function area inside the main club house also has a seated terraced area outside which is the best area to go to chat away from the music.

We will again have DJ John Johnny who is great at creating an amazing atmosphere at events.

You are welcome to pass on messages via us the day after the event and you can look up the names of those who attended on the past event the next day. Do remember the first name and the area the person lives as we can then pass on a text for you if you did not manage to exchange numbers on the night.
We should say that the events are developing more like a social club so any couples who do meet at events are welcome to attend together for the party only. It is nice to have a dance within your area range which is more 35 to 65 for our events.
