Ansible is a configuration management system, like Puppet, Chef, and SaltStack. Ansible has a very gradual learning curve and requires only ssh and Python on the target host(s). It's as fun as Puppet, slightly less secure, and much less ritualized. Come try CM that's simple and quick.

Objectives: Get up and running quickly on Ansible. Learn Ansible basics like:

• Writing a playbook
• Running ad-hoc commands
• Error handling
• Writing idempotent scripts

Requirements: Student should have a laptop capable of running Virtual Machines, perferably with Virtual Box running on it.
