Ed Levine County Park w/Dish Dash.
Details
The climb up Agua Caliente, Sierra and part of Monument Peak trail is a 7 mile, 1774’ elevation gain “lollipop-like” loop. The trails are mostly unshaded so don’t forget hats, sunscreen, or a sunbrella. No, we won’t summit Monument Peak, but we will take a good look at it and the views of the South Bay and swear to do it another day (possibly with our fingers crossed behind our backs!).
There is a good workout on the incline at the beginning of the hike, that will make you question the life choices you made that lead you to decide to do this hike. The descent is on a gravelly trail, so good treaded shoes and poles are recommended.
Also, be advised that we may encounter people appearing to jump off a cliff. Do not try and intervene, they are hang gliders whose parents never told them “be careful”.
There is a $6 entry fee. There are restrooms at the parking area.
As always carpooling encouraged:

Meals are ordered individually so go ahead & get in line & order your food. We will try to grab seats together around to the right as soon as you go in (kind of on "the patio")
The IOPQ will be : Most ridiculous song lyrics?
