South Bay Coplay Club

A play club for Bay Area families. Real games, local parks, everyone walks away with a new game to play.
Coplay Club believes games can be a force for good: play is practice for life. Games build teamwork, resilience, and judgment, and the lessons don't stay in the game. They show up at home, at school, and on the field.

WHO IT'S FOR
Parents of kids roughly 3 to 10. Gamers, non-gamers, and the gaming curious all welcome! Come as a whole family or as one parent with the crew. Siblings outside that range are welcome too, and we'll find them a role.
Anyone under 18 needs a parent or legal guardian with them for the whole event.

WHAT HAPPENS AT AN EVENT
We pick a park and bring a short list of games. Every one is a classic you already half-know, with a Coplay twist. Some need a frisbee. Some need nothing at all. We play in rounds, swap teams, and stop while it's still fun.
Expect about 90 minutes. Expect to get in and play with the kids. Leave your phone on the sidelines.

WHAT TO BRING
Your kid(s), water, and shoes you can run in. We bring the rest.

WHY WE DO IT
Coplay is the method of playing to build connection and resilience together. Teamwork, patience, and losing gracefully are taught in real time. Kids learn them by doing them, right next to the parents and caregivers who care how they turn out. That's why we get on the grass and the pavement too.
New parents, new kids, and first-timers are always welcome. Just show up and get ready to Coplay!
