California River Quest Talk with Jeff Kay

Join us for a free evening talk about the California River Quest, an ultra-endurance canoe race on the Sacramento River in Northern California. With several courses from 25 to 100 miles, it is an outstanding event for seasoned pros and ultra-racing newcomers alike.

Jeff Kay is the Assistant Race Director and co-founder/co-organizer of the California River Quest. He started paddling in 2010 with Dragon Boat, racing 500m sprints. He quickly picked up long-distance racing, racing 1, 2, and 6-man outrigger canoes, doing his first ultra event (the California 100) in 2014.
