We charge membership dues of $15 per year to cover the costs charged by Meetup and to allow us to rent a theater once each year for a free film screening. There is a 90-day free trial period so you can come to some of our meetups before committing to pay dues.
Additional donations are welcome and can be given securely online on our home page. 100% of all donations go toward funding future events.
We'll be arriving at the Mango Tree for dinner, drinks and conversation around 7pm. If you're unable to attend, or will only join us for the films, please update your RSVP to "No" so I can provide the restaurant with an accurate head count. Hello, fellow film lovers! Our next Meetup event will be on Saturday, February 21, at the Magic Lantern Theatre. It will start at approximately 6:00pm, depending on which films are playing and the showtimes. We'll most likely be watching one of the new Oscar-Nominated Short Films programs.
I will update the meeting details on Tuesday the 17th or Wednesday the 18th, once the Lantern releases its weekly schedule. The meetup time may change by as much as 1 hour. After the film, we will go to the Mango Tree Indian Restaurant--located at 401 W. Main--for dinner, drinks and conversation.
As always, please only RSVP "Yes" if you will be joining us at the restaurant after the film (so I can provide them with an accurate head count). If you will be seeing the movie, but not joining us at the restaurant, please RSVP "No."
