Ever want to learn to Curl (but just once)? How about Wiffle Ball or Badminton? Bocce and Boules and Mud Football? Extreme Ironing anyone? We'll even go Bowling and love it! (you know you actually love it) All sports are fair game from the obscure like Donkey Ball to the old favorites like Kickball. This Meetup is for people who enjoy getting together to play random (and not so random) sports in and around the Bay Area. The group then heads to fun and/or interesting (not one and the same!) local bars to continue the fun.

We do a weekly rock-paper-scissors tournament & happy hour hop on Wednesdays. Everyone competes while moving from place-to-place so that it's easy to meet new people. Winner of the Rock Paper Scissors tournament gets a prize.

We will be joining the travelers meetup group and backpackers from SF. Please do NOT RSVP here. You must RSVP and be APPROVED on the MAIN meetup group in order to attend. This is so we can have an accurate headcount due to limited space. Since this is a recurring event, the date will change on this invite as it gets close to the event starting time but the event is NOT cancelled.
We'll be playing a fun social deduction party game starting at 8:30PM. We'll be rotating around and playing a few different rounds of the game, each with different rules so that everyone can get to meet each other. You are also welcome to bring board games for afterwards that you'd like to play/share with the group.
8:30PM SHARP: Meet out front of 498 Broadway St. (on the NORTHEAST CORNER of Broadway & Kearny St) for event check in. The international living room used for this event is a private space and there are strict rules for entry so please be sure to arrive on time or you will NOT be able to enter the lounge where the event is located. There is a strict headcount and you must be APPROVED in order to attend so please do NOT just show up if you are not on the approval list or you will be turned away. Also be sure to bring your ID as they will hold it at the entrance upon arrival for the duration of the time you are on the premisis.
At 8:30PM SHARP, we will take all the guests approved in advance to the private location we will be using for this event. You *must* check in at 8:30PM SHARP if you are planning to attend - please do not try and join us afterwards (even if you are approved) as you will be turned away.
The event is run by volunteers at hostels in SF so that there's a place for backpackers and locals to meet each other. We always get a bunch of travelers from all over the world along with locals. (And there's usually a very international group - travelers from France, Germany, Spain, etc).
