Registrations are now being accepted for the next session!
Russell Squares will start dancing on Friday, April 11 and registration is now open. Go to the Township of Russell webpage (www.russell.ca) and look for the fall program guide (https://www.russell.ca/en/recreation-and-culture/program-guide-and-registration.aspx). Details of the square dancing can be found at the bottom of page 5, but here are the details, too:
- Dance days: Fridays, April 11 through June 13 (EXCEPT April 18)
- Time: 6:30 - 8:00 PM
- Location: Saint Mother Teresa School, 1035 Concession St., Russell, ON (except for the April 11 dance which will be held at the Frank Kinnaird Community Hall in the Russell Arena)
- Cost for Russell residents: $86. Cost for non-residents: $96. (HST will be added.)
Only people who register for the progam through the Township of Russell will be permitted to participate, so make sure you do that as soon as possible! If you dan't make the first week or two, that's no problem. Registrations will be accepted until the end of April.
Remember, if committing to a 9-week session is just not possible for you, please come out to Square Dance Ottawa's monthly dances on the 4th Sunday of every month for an introductory dance. Go to https://www.meetup.com/square-dance-ottawa-meetup-group/ for more details.
