National Ice Cream Day Social

Join members and guests for an Ice Cream Social celebration!
In addition to it being National Ice Cream Day, it is Christmas in July @ Foley's Ice Cream! They are serving up some holiday flavors and hosting some fun themed days. Check out their Facebook page for more specific info.

Join us at Foley's Ice Cream Shoppe in South Braintree Square. Foley's is a locally owned throwback ice cream shoppe. Foley's is a vintage-style ice cream shop reminiscent of the 1940s, with a nod to life’s simple pleasures. We serve premium ice cream cones, sundaes and fountain drinks. Our waffle cones and baked goods are all homemade. Even the dog gets something special, our very own Lassie with a homemade dog biscuit on top. We have been proudly serving up sweet treats with a side of nostalgia since July 2018.

While we usually encourage you to arrive in the first 15 minutes, today you are encouraged to arrive within the first half-hour (30 mins). While the event officially runs for 75 minutes, people may linger longer.

Meeting Place: By the front door. I'm planning to sit on the bench out front and save a seat or two. Alternatively we can sit a table inside, if the group is small enough.

Guests: 2 per member. Ages 13+

Event Fee: $2pp / 2026 Annual Members & 1 Guest ~ Free / $10 to become an Annual Member and your Guest will have no Fee. // All small bills please (1s &5s; 10s & 20s for AMs).

(Note: If your plans change please update your RSVP regardless of the time as we can now access this info from our phones. Any changes after this time may be considered a No-Show.)

Directions Overview: Located at the southern end of South Braintree Square on the NB sound, a couple doors down (to the right) from Braintree Lumber.
Parking: Free and ample on-street.

~~~Please bring Cash Only!!! While Foley's accpts credit cards, the SSDOMG only accepts cash. Please bring small bills ($1s or $5s please) to pay for the event fee. .~~~

**Health Guidelines**
SSDOMG requests you not attend an event if/when:
>You have been exposed to covid-19 in the 10 days prior to the event and have not yet tested negative.
>You are experiencing any sickness up to 5 days prior to the event in which you have not been symptom-free for at least 48 hours, especially if it's contagious.
This is for the safety of the attendees, employees, and our families.

Please update your RSVP, preferably prior to the RSVP Deadline or you may be considered a No-Show. We do have a No-Show Policy which is when you are a Yes/Going RSVP at the RSVP Deadline but do not attend the event.
While we request you arrive within the first half of the Ice Cream Social, you can arrive anytime, however, if you will be arriving within the last 15 minutes please be advised that we may or may not be able to stay more than a few minutes after the stated event end time.
