On Saturday, April 11th, we're hosting a Monthly Hackathon at Startup Edmonton. This hackathon is a little different than your average hackathon - we're skipping the idea pitch/planning phase and instead calling on developers and designers to come with an idea/team in mind to challenge themselves to build something in a day.

Whether you've been thinking about building a new feature, product, or website, it's about challenging yourself to create something awesome.

Also this month, the Theatre Edmonton Project (https://www.facebook.com/TheatreEdmontonProject/info?tab=page_info) is presenting the Theatre Wiki Hackathon which is a nation-wide project dedicated to creating the first community-maintained Canadian online encyclopedia of the performing arts. They're aiming to populate the https://theatrewiki.ca/ with information about the Edmonton theatre community. If you would like to join this hackathon team to contribute to that project, you can register through eventbrite.

When: Saturday, April 11th
Starts at: 8:30am and goes until 6pm
Cost: Free!
Lunch and coffee will be provided.
