October Pop-Up Event!!
The announcement is gauging interest to play at GCC mid-late morning on Saturday October 17th.
Our classic method of contracting with courses for events is becoming more challenging to obtain the minimum of 16 players. Because the contracting method provides the opportunity to book in advance of the general public and JC players, the course is strict about the minimum number and will penalize (think $$ and perks like range balls) if we do not perform to the minimum.
So now we are trying another method tagged as "Pop-Up Event".
For this Pop Up event, Allyn and Miles are looking to host by using our enhanced 9 day prior booking window. We each can book a foursome. Will book two start times back to back for 8 players. If there is interest beyond 8 players, we will ask a JC player from the group to use their 8 day advance booking window to secure another foursome or even a fourth foursome if we have the interest.
The big advantage to this approach is the flexibility to cancel and reduce with 48 hour notice and avoid penalty. Less than 24 hour notice will be charged $25.
JC Players rate for this should be $110. General public players $125.
