Walk in Cookham and Winter Hill

Details
Join us for a walk in nature. This will be an approximate 7.5 mile round trip from Cookham Moor.
We’ll start at 10.00 and head through Cookham to pick up a section of the Thames path past Cookham Reach. This will be followed by a gentle climb up Winter Hill, followed by a shady path through Quarry Wood. We then pass through Cookham Dean Common and on to Cookham Rise. At the end of the walk, we can stop in at The Old Swan Uppers for refreshments if you would like. The pace will be moderate and although largely on well maintained flat paths, there are some hills.
There is a National Trust car park at Cookham Moor where the walk will start (High Street, Cookham SL9 9SB, what3words: owls.treating.chatters). The cost is £2.00 per day if you are not a member. This is a large car park but it can get very busy, so consider lift sharing if possible. There may also be some roadside parking in Cookham High Street or by the War Memorial or in School Lane, all just a few minutes walk away. If travelling by train, Cookham Station is a 10 minute walk away.
