This is a looped walk. We begin at Los Olivos Community Park, at the community center, and make our way to the Los Olivos Village where we will walk on hard surfaces along the San Diego Creek towards the freeway. We will temporarily diverge from the paved surfaces and climb up to the ridge of the Laguna Altura neighborhood. We will explore the lush water basin area in that neighborhood, that is partially dirt path. Then we will head back up Lake Forest Drive to our point of origin at the Los Olivos Community Park, at the corner of Bake and Alfonso.
This is a relatively safe walk. Wear good shoes and bring water.
The only available restrooms are at the community center.
Friendly dogs are allowed!
