Evening Hike on the Oso Creek Trail

Details

ABOUT THE HIKE: This is about a 4 mile out and back hike along a trail that winds along Oso Creek, part of the San Juan Creek watershed. It is a fairly easy nature trail with very little elevation gain; the trail is partly paved and partly dirt/gravel. Bring a flashlight because it will be dark along the trail in certain areas. Dogs are allowed; however, they must be kept on a leash, and it is always a good idea to be careful of coyotes. We will meet at the trailhead on Marguerite Parkway just south of the Del Taco, which is in the Mission Viejo Village Center near the corner of La Paz and Marguerite. Park near the trailhead, and we will eat at one of the restaurants afterwards.
