Hike, Picnic and Pacific Symphony Concert in Mission Viejo

We avoid the parking rush, with a hike and picnic prior to the concert. Meetup for the hike is at the entrance to the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center in Mission Viejo. Restrooms are available at the Community Center. We begin the walk by placing our picnic items at the picnic tables and low backed lawn chair at the concert venue. Seating is unreserved, first come first served.

ABOUT THE HIKE: At 5 PM we meet for a two mile, one hour, beginner walk on the beautiful Oslo Creek Trail. There are some dirt and some paved paths that loop through rolling hills along the creek.

ABOUT THE PICNIC: At 6 PM we return to outdoor picnic tables adjacent to the Community Center for a potluck picnic. Please bring food to share and BYO Beverage. Your event hosts will provide plates and utensils. Alcohol is not allowed, so please be discreet.

ABOUT THE CONCERT: At 7 PM, we return to the concert venue for this Pacific Symphony performance of "popular classics, pop tunes and a sing-along of patriotic favorites." This is a full symphony orchestra conducted by Carl St. Clair and hosted by Rich Capparella.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS: At Interstate 5, take the La Paz exit heading inland.... past Margarite Parkway.... turn left on Veterans Way.... the Norman P. Murray Community Center is located at 24932 Veterans Way, Mission Viejo, CA. Please arrive early for this very popular event.
