Let’s take part in an epic Fullerton adventure including trains and a day full of music.

We'll start with Breakfast at Santa Fe Express Cafe, located at Fullerton station.

At Fullerton station, we’ll visit the Fullerton Train Museum, open the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month 9 a.m. to Noon. Admission is free.

We’ll also take part in the 10th annual Day of Music Fullerton on the longest day of the year, the Summer Solstice, June 21st. A free celebration of music that spans the city on a SATURDAY for the first time! Part of the global Make Music Day, our festival features performances from classic rock to modern vibes across diverse venues. Experience the magic of community and music at DOMF, where every sound is a celebration.

With so many venues I am not sure what the plan is just yet, but we will explore Fullerton In search of the best Music. Here are the music offerings Make Music Fullerton

Meet at Irvine train station Address: 15215 Barranca Pkwy, Irvine, CA at 9:00am We will start our adventure at the Irvine train station by taking OC 1661 @ 9:21 am to Fullerton scheduled to arrive Fullerton at 9:53 am. Get your Metrolink Weekend Day Pass for $10.00 at Irvine Station. To buy your Metrolink ticket at the station Use the Metrolink ticket kiosk, hit Buy Tickets, then Weekend Day Pass. Follow the instructions on the ticket vending machine screen.

Note: Do not pay with a Bill larger than a $20 or you may not get change! Best to use a credit card.

Our return train is OC 1668 leaving Fullerton at 5:04pm and arriving Irvine at 5:36pm. There are later Amtrak Trains at 6:41pm, 8:41pm and 10:41pm (30 minutes to Irvine) at additional cost of $12 if we want or need them.

Bring an extra layer for morning/evening, Pre apply sunscreen, wear a hat and wear comfortable walking shoes we’ll be walking 5+ miles mostly hard flat surfaces with some hills and stairs along the way. Bring a refillable bottle of water for the walk and a snack for after lunch.
