This is a very nice campground with lots of amenities. It has RV spots with full hook ups, tent areas and cabins for glamping. It has 3 pools, cafe, horseshoes, golf putting area, live music and dancing under the stars on the weekends and much more. It's about 15 minutes from Old Town Temecula, Casinos, Wine Country, etc. SOTT are welcome.

PLANNED ACTIVITIES:

Thursday: 5:30 Meet and Greet at Site 170. Pick up your name tag -a must to wear during the event- , a folding chair, BYOB and an appetizer to share. It's a good time to finalize plans for carpooling to Friday's optional Winery tour and lunch on Friday. We need volunteers for carpooling.

Friday: 8-9:30 Waffles at site 171. Wearing your PJs is optional but fun. Bring your plate, utensils and coffee mug. Bring something to share for breakfasts like bacon, whipped cream. fruit, donuts, etc. We will have waffles for Friday and Saturday breakfasts. There will be a Keurig at the site for refills.

At 12:30 we will gather at 170 for carpooling to Oak Mountain Winery where we have reservations for lunch, bring cash as separate checks is not always possible. OakMountainWinery.com. This is a unique experience since this winery is in a cave. Bring your jacket because it is always naturally cool inside the winery.

At 6:00 we will gather at site 170 &171 for cooking tinfoil dinners. Bring firewood. Following dinner is game night, LRC so bring $9 in ones. Here are some steps to making tinfoil dinners, if you are not familiar:

1. Cut the ingredients into small, similarly sized pieces so they will cook in the same amount of time.
2. Each foil packet will require 2 sheets of foil.
3. Place prepared, seasoned food in the center of each foil sheet or in a foil pocket.
4. Fold, roll and securely seal all edges of the foil packet.
5. Place on top of hot coals, turning as needed depending on ingredients.

Saturday: 8-9:30 Waffles and whatever you bring to share for breakfast. Bring your coffee, plate, utensils and we will have a Keurig set up. PJs are optional and fun.

10:30 Craft hour for the campground or just chill. The campground has crafts for purchase ... it is addictive and fun.

12:00 - Gather for carpooling to Old Town for lunch and shopping. Need volunteers to drive.

6:00 - Dinner on your own. The campground does have a snack bar. Dance to Live Music Night.

Full hookup sites in the Oaks was 82 weekdays and 111 Weekends. Call for current rates since this is a popular KOA and they may have increased their rates. We do get a group discount of 10% once 10 or more have booked their site. This allows for an RV, car and a tent on a site. KOA Front Desk to reserve the Sunshine and SOTF event is 951-303-0173.

The campground has set aside sites for our group so we can be together but won't hold them for long. Book now. If bringing a pet, you must follow our SOTF Pet Policy which is no pets in the gathering area especially if there's food involved .
