About Farnham: Since the time of the Roman Invasion of England, Farnham has played host to three major industries, namely Agriculture, Brick Making and Brewing / Hop Growing. Although none of these industries are to be seen in the Farnham that we know today, there are several traces of what once was. For students of history and architecture, Farnham has a lot to offer including one of the most complete streets featuring Georgian Architecture in the South of England and is well worth a visit at any time of the year.
Meeting & eating arrangements: Make your own way to the Waggon Yard Car Park, Farnham, GU9 7PS in time for a 10:30am start. Tour will take 90-100 minutes, after which there are plenty of good lunch spots, and other attractions to see in the afternoon .
