This event is organized by a group Oriental Medicine / Standing Meditation fans and is completely free. Standing meditation is a powerful method of healing the body from injuries and chronic illnesses. Standing meditation or ‘Zhan zhuang’ increases vitality, internal strength and fitness as well as overall body power. Developed in China by masters of meditation, Kongu, and acupuncture, Standing Medication is a form of medical meditation and Qigong. This form of meditation also increases physical strength and power. Join this social hiking event with SVE (Silicon Valley Entrepreneurs). It's an ideal way to practice your pitch, make new connections and get some fresh air. We'll hike approximately 7 miles round trip. Here's our agenda: 8:45 AM - Arrive 9:00 AM - Introductions 9:15 AM - Start hiking 10:00 AM - Pitching (near the Stanford Dish) 11:15 AM - End hiking **Please note that we'll meet at the Alpine Road entrance (see map), not the Stanford Avenue entrance. Parking is available on both sides of Alpine Road.** It can be sometimes be chilly until we begin hiking, so consider bringing a jacket. Bring water on warm days. This hiking is not for people who rarely exercise - it's medium difficulty. Hike at your own risk.
