What we’re about
Hello! if you are interested in writing and critiquing other writers' fiction or creative non-fiction, you've come to the right place. We tend to focus on genres like literary fiction, historical fiction, humorous fiction, mainstream, magical realism, and creative non-fiction. (We shy away from memoirs.) We will also take sci-fi fantasy submissions, though if that's really your interest there are other groups that specialize in those genres. If you have a poem or a longer piece of writing, go ahead and submit those too, though longer fiction (over 7000 words) might be critiqued over two or more workshops. We'll meet Sunday afternoons, usually 2:00 until 4 or 5. Look forward to seeing you there!
If you want to submit, please contact me and submit on or before Thursday so that people will have time to read submissions. We'll usually meet at a location near Liuzhangli MRT station, or near Technology Building Station, both on the brown line.
(We have a rule that you must attend at least two sessions and give feedback before submitting any work to critique.)
