Team Doogie (SWFL) Sports and Social Events

Our random draw tournaments are perfect for players of all levels who love the thrill of the game and meeting new friends. (Lately, we have skewed intermediate to advanced play, but it all depends on who shows!)

Teams will be assigned based on skill level before the tournament starts. This means you’ll get to meet and play with different people, making it a fantastic way to socialize and have fun! Each team will have a chance to keep playing, even if they lose a match! The tournament is set up so that teams are eliminated only after their second loss. Each match is played to 25 points, and teams must win by 2 points. So, get ready for some intense rallies and teamwork!

Tuesday PICKLEball in Port Charlotte at Franz Ross Park

New to Team Doogie? Welcome! We're an adult sports and social community in the Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, and North Port areas. We play VOLLEYball, PICKLEball, and CORNhole, but honestly, the sports are just an excuse to get together, laugh, and make real friendships. No cliques, no egos, no pressure. Just good people having a good time.

Join us every Tuesday for a fun, welcoming night of PICKLEball at Franz Ross Park! We start with beginner Skills & Drills and open up to Blind-Draw play for all levels. New to the game or knocking off the rust? This is your spot.

Here's how it works:
🗓️ Every Tuesday (Weather permitting)
🥒 6pm: Beginner Skills & Drills (for new players or anyone wanting a refresher)
🎲 6:30pm: Blind-Draw PICKLEball at 6:30pm (all levels)
📍 Franz Ross Park, Port Charlotte
💵 Just $5 per person covers the whole night
✅ No advanced sign up required, just show up ready to play
🪑 Bring a paddle and balls if you have them, plus a chair for downtime between games

Blind draw means random partners, new faces, and zero egos. Just good PICKLEball and great people. Beginner or seasoned dinker, there's a spot for you on the court.
