A casual table for mid-career people in tech to talk about work and careers over coffee. There are no speakers, slides or a set agenda. Conversations mostly revolve around tech careers — how people got to where they are, what the job actually looks like from the inside, what they're going after next, and how they're going about it. Industry stuff can come up too.

Mid-career is loosely defined. If you've been at this long enough to have opinions about how it's changed, you'll fit.

This isn't a job board or a networking event. Nobody's recruiting or pitching. People get to know each other, and that's a pleasant side effect.
I started this because I'm curious how people navigate this stuff, and I couldn't find anywhere nearby to talk about it that wasn't either a job hunt or someone pitching something.

Sunday 11am at Big Mug Cafe in Santa Clara. Look for a table with an event board — I'll be there a bit early. It's the first session so it may very well be a small group, which honestly makes for a better conversation. Usually about ninety minutes, come and go as you need.

Sitting and listening the whole time is completely fine. Buy your own coffee. That's the only cost. Looking forward to seeing you!
