Join us for a small, guided gathering in the Oakland Hills designed for women in their 40s and 50s who are looking to slow down, connect, and spend meaningful time in nature and community.
Life in midlife often brings unexpected transitions—changes in relationships, family, work, identity, or simply a longing to feel more grounded and connected. This gathering offers a chance to step away from the pace of everyday life and reconnect with yourself alongside other women.
Led by two licensed therapists with over 40 years of combined experience, the gathering blends the restorative qualities of nature with thoughtful facilitation, relational connection, and simple somatic practices. We'll begin with a gentle grounding exercise and guided conversation, followed by time in nature. You'll have the option to take a leisurely walk or find a quiet place to sit, journal, or simply be. We'll close the morning together with reflection, connection, and practices designed to help you leave feeling more present, grounded, and restored.
This is not a therapy group or a hiking group. Rather, it's an opportunity to spend intentional time outdoors, connect with other thoughtful women, and experience the benefits of slowing down in the company of nature and community.
What to expect:
- A welcoming, small-group atmosphere
- Facilitated by two licensed therapists
- Guided opening and closing circles
- Gentle somatic and mindfulness practices
- Time for quiet reflection in nature
- Optional easy walking (or simply relaxing outdoors)
- Meaningful conversation and community
Please bring water, comfortable walking shoes, layers, and a journal and pen.
Space is limited to encourage connection, so advance registration is required. Registration link: Join us for a small, guided gathering in the Oakland Hills designed for women in their 40s and 50s who are looking to slow down, connect, and spend meaningful time in nature and community.
