That Sounds Fun

Bachata is a dance that originated from the Dominican Republic and has spread all over the world. It is easy to learn and fun to dance as well. Salsa and Bachata are usually played together at Latin dance clubs. This night will focus specifically on Bachata dancing starting with a Fun and Friendly dance lesson with Subbu at 8:30pm in the 2nd level. After the dance lesson there will be open social dancing on the main level with DJ Nelson and DJ Jenrry. This new location Quebueno Suerte is a beautiful Mexican restaurant right across from Sushi Den on S Pearl st (easy access from I-25). On a Wednesday night you should be able to find street parking or there is garage right next door for just $2/hr. If you want to try Quebueno Suerte's food, come a little early for dinner.
You can attend the dancing event weekly, but we will invite this group once per month, so members have other options to attend other events during the month. We are inviting the two other 5280 Singles groups on different Wednesday nights each month.
Time:
8:30pm to 9:15pm - Bachata class with Subbu and Cristina
9:15pm to 12:30am - Social dancing with DJ Nelson and DJ Jenrry (80% Bachata and 20% Salsa).

We will start our second month of attending our Top 20 free concerts of 2026 by enjoying one of the most talented and versatile bands in town, Radio Band. They basically play top 40 hits from the radio over the past several decades. if you like to get up and move, most of it will be good dance music. Bring a lawn chair, food and beverages. NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL! They do sell alcohol from a few nearby restaurants that you can drink in the courtyard. Admission is FREE! RSVP if you would like to sit with us and will make it there by 6 pm.

Join us in the happy little valley in Columbine Valley for our first of two trips. We will be enjoying the sounds of Montage playing top 40, R&B, and Motown Classics. Bring a lawn chair, food and beverages. There usually are a couple of food trucks there if you are running late. Admission is FREE.
