Need a Saturday plan that doesn’t involve sitting at home and pretending to be productive?

Join The 20s Club for a casual beach games hangout at Santa Cruz Main Beach. We’ll play beginner-friendly beach games, hang out by the beach, meet new people, and keep the vibe fun and low-pressure.
You do not need to be good at volleyball or any sport. This is more about getting outside, laughing, meeting people, and having a chill Saturday with other people in their 20s. Total beginners are welcome.
Come solo — seriously. A lot of people will be coming by themselves, and the whole point of this event is to make it easier to meet new people without feeling awkward.

## Time

Saturday, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

## Plan

Please arrive at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk by 2:45 PM. We’ll meet outside the main arch of the Boardwalk near the ticket counter so we can check everyone in, find the group, and do quick casual intros.
We’ll wait there until 3:30 PM, then walk over together to the beach and find a good spot to play.
We’ll play casual beach games like volleyball, frisbee, paddle ball, or whatever people bring. We’ll rotate people in so everyone gets a chance to join. Total beginners are welcome — this is meant to be fun and social, not intense or competitive.
Around 6:00 PM, we can start winding down, hang out on the beach, walk around the Boardwalk area, grab food, or just chill depending on what people are down for.

Extra games and beach gear will help keep things moving, so please bring anything you’re comfortable sharing.

Parking near Santa Cruz Main Beach and the Boardwalk can get busy on weekends, so plan ahead and give yourself extra time.
Everyone is responsible for their own transportation, parking, food, drinks, and personal belongings.

Welcome to The 20s Club — a social group for people in their 20s who want to get out more, meet new people, and make fun plans that don’t just stay in the group chat forever.
For our first event, we’re doing a casual game night / icebreaker social. Nothing too serious, nothing awkward, and you definitely don’t need to be good at games. We’ll have board games, card games, party games, and simple icebreakers to make it easy for everyone to start talking.
Honestly, adulting is weird. Maybe you just moved to the Bay, your friends are all in different cities, your weekends have been feeling kind of quiet, or you’re just tired of only meeting people through work, dating apps, or random one-time plans. Come vent, laugh, play some games, and meet other people who are probably feeling the same way.

## What to expect

We’ll start with casual intros, then split into smaller groups for games. People can rotate around during the event so you get to meet more than just the people sitting next to you.
Come solo or bring a friend. Either way, you’ll be welcomed.

🎳 Saturday Bowling Night at Big Al’s

Looking for something fun to do on Saturday night?

Join The 20s Club for a casual bowling night at Big Al’s in Milpitas. Whether you’re competitive, haven’t bowled in years, or are just here to hang out, this is an easy way to get out, meet new people, and have a fun night.

You do not need to be good at bowling. Most people are just there to relax, laugh a little, and meet other people in their 20s. Beginners are definitely welcome.

Come solo — seriously. A lot of people come to these events by themselves, so you won’t be the only one. The whole point is to make it easier to meet new people without it feeling awkward.

Plan

Please arrive by 7:45 PM so that we can check everyone in, locate the group, and organize ourselves before heading to the lanes. We will form teams at the location and purchase the necessary equipment there.

We will be purchasing walk-in lanes when we arrive rather than reserving lanes ahead of time. If there's a short wait, we'll hang out together in the arcade or sports bar until lanes open up.

After we’ll split into teams, bowl a couple of games, and hang out throughout the night. Big Al’s also has food and drinks if you want to grab something while you’re there.
