What we’re about
The Amsterdam Culture Group is about getting together and exploring the city's cultural life. This group is for people who want to take advantage of what the city has to offer and meet like-minded people in the process. We visit art collections, concerts, films, theatre, cabaret, and undertake a wide array of other cultural activities. Although there might be occasional exceptions, the primary language is usually English.

We’ll meet in front of the Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar, explore the museum’s art collections, and take a gentle walk through the beautiful old town filled with canals and winter lights.
About Alkmaar:
Alkmaar is a historic city known for its traditional Dutch canals, narrow streets, and famous cheese market. In winter, the city feels peaceful and beautifully illuminated — perfect for a relaxed afternoon stroll.
About Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar:
The museum showcases local history, classic and modern art, and Dutch Golden Age paintings. It’s a wonderful place to experience both culture and creativity in a calm setting.
After the museum visit, we’ll take some time to enjoy the city and perhaps warm up with a hot drink at a cozy café nearby. ☕✨
This event is perfect for anyone who enjoys art, slow city walks, and friendly conversation.
