Hello everyone! Thank you for your interest in The Art of Photography - Tampa/St. Pete Chapter.
We are a Community for higher level Photography from the Tampa Bay area and beyond.
The purpose of The Art of Photography - Tampa/St. Pete Chapter is to help you elevate your creative and artistic skills and then translate those skills into compelling photographic work.
We do this by
- Sharing our work with our members
- Providing constructive commentary and critiques
- Offering weekly photography review sessions (online)
- Offering photography and post-processing classes (online)
- Organizing interesting photo shoots
- Conducting photo contests and challenges
All of our activities are FREE of charge and offered by our members - people like you and me who want to share their passion for artistic photography.
If this all sounds good to you then welcome to The Art of Photography Tampa/St. Petersburg. As a member, you are encouraged to participate actively. I look forward to seeing your work.

Instructions:
✅ Upload only ONE photo to the Session album AFTER you see the “Welcome …” photo slide (after 5 pm on Sunday).
✅ You must be attending in order for your image to be reviewed during a session.
✅ A maximum of 30 photographs will be considered for review as time and content allow.
✅ Following the sessions the albums will be deleted after 5 pm on Sunday. If you wish to save your image and comments move your photo to the PHOTOGRAPHERS OPEN FORUM album.

### The Sarasota Medieval Fair is Back at our 47-Acre Home!
Welcome one and all to weekends of exciting tournaments, scrumptious feasts, & pure family fun at the Sarasota Medieval Fair!
We are so proud to announce the triumphant return of the renowned 21st Annual Sarasota Medieval Fair! The fair will be held Saturdays & Sundays, Nov. 1-30, 2025 at our beautiful new home, the Woods of Mallaranny! The Woods of Mallaranny, offers 47-acres of stunning natural surroundings that will bring the fair to life.
We can already hear the sounds of the fair: the shouts of “throw wide the gates!”, laughter at our Children’s Realm, cheers during the equestrian tournaments, and the music from wandering troubadours. And who could forget the aroma of turkey legs and kettle corn in the air?
The festival as more than just an event. The Sarasota Medieval Fair brings together local artisans, performers, and vendors, and serves as a fundraiser to multiple non-profit organizations. It’s a creative forum for learning about the history of the Medieval era through a wide-range of family friendly activities, and an occasion through which our community has made lasting friendships and lifelong memories. A huge thank you to all our participants and guests who have supported us over the years to help us make this dream come alive!
