Urban Peak Stout Street Shelter Volunteer Meal Prep

The Denver Way is for singles and couples that enjoy meeting new people, volunteering in the community, and cooking yummy food!

At this time, Urban Peak is allowing 5 volunteers. THEY HAVE MOVED TO THE STOUT STREET DROP-IN CENTER AT 2100 Stout Street at 21st and Stout Street.

STOUT STREET DROP-IN CENTER INFORMATION

PARKING: There is 1hr on-street parking around the Drop-In Center. There are also public pay parking lots on California and 21st as well as on Park Ave between Stout st and California st (1.5 blocks away from DIC). ENTRY: Enter through the corner door (21st and Stout). Please go to the front desk (on 1st floor) and inform the Urban Peak employee you will be volunteering. SIGN-IN/SIGN-OUT: We ask for all volunteers to sign-in and sign-out for their volunteer shift. Sign-in sheet can be found at the front desk. Please ask for this when you arrive and leave the DIC. WAIVER: All volunteers are required to sign a volunteer waiver. Recurring volunteers can sign one annually. COVID PROTOCOL: Currently we are NOT requiring for volunteers to be vaccinated or wear masks. However, volunteers are highly encouraged to wear a mask. Please note that this protocol may change depending on the state of the COVID pandemic at the time of your volunteer experience.

The cost of this event is $15 per volunteer to cover the costs of Meetup and the groceries. I accept payment via PayPal

**Due to various volunteers not showing in the past, PAYMENT IS REQUIRED ahead of time by Friday, October 14th by noon, this will hold your spot. Your advanced payment allows me to prepare appropriate recipes for the budget and find enough tasks for the number of volunteers. If you need to cancel please do so with as much notice as possible, if you don't show you will be removed from the group.
