The London Wine, Dining and Travel Meetup

The 2015 Vintage produced excellent wines in many wine regions in the 'New World'. The weather gods smiled and the vines responded! This tasting will focus on a range of high quality red wines from the 2015 vintage and the line-up will include Argentina, Australia, California, Chile, New Zealand, South Africa, Uruguay and Virginia. There will be some 'Bordeaux blends', a Syrah, two Malbecs, and a Petit Verdot. Producers will include Gaia, Rupert & Rothschild, Ata Rangi and more

We'll start with a welcome drink of a couple of bottles of fragrant Gewurztraminer from New Zealand, also from the 2015 vintage, and then there will be 8 different reds.

Numbers will be limited to 12 people seated round one table, so almost a bottle of fine wine per person. During the tasting a selection of fine cheeses, pates,and other food will be served. And all this for just £39.50!

Please note that Meetup have started to charge an additional fee to attendees on top of the price which the Organiser sets. This fee is paid direct to Meetup and is beyond our control.

REFUNDS: The 'ticket price' for this event is £39.50 including £2.50 for paypal/meetup fees. If you cancel by Tuesday 17th latest AND there is someone on the waitlist who pays for your place you will get a refund of £37.

A food and wine matching dinner with Errazuriz wines from Chile presented by the winery's UK ambassador Olivier Gasselin!

Errazuriz Estate was founded in 1870 in the Aconcagua Valley in Chile. Don Maximiano Errazuriz, the founder, planted the first French vines in this region and it is widely considered as the premier family wine estate of Chile.

Aconcagua valley where the winery is based has cool ocean breezes, hot sunshine and rocky soils which provide the ideal conditions for growing high-quality grapes such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir Carmenere and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines have intense flavours and a perfect balance of acidity and tannins.

We will be tasting 6 of their wines including their premium selections from a variety of grapes and vintages over a three course matched tasting dinner in Frederick’s private room.

The ticket price for this event is £99 to include the 3 course tasting menu with 6 wines and meetup/paypal fees.

DIETARY ISSUES: This event is suited to 'flexible' diners, however if you have any allergies or dietary requirements please mention these when you RSVP so that I can let the venue know.

REFUND POLICY: If you cancel your place by 12:00 noon, Monday 30th October latest you will get a refund of £99 but, IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE, only if there is someone on the 'waitlist' who books and pays for your place.

POSTSCRIPT: The last wine dinner at Fredericks earlier this year was outstanding and the elegant, private dining room is the perfect menu for an evening of gastronomy and fine wines. If you're not able to join the wine tour to Chile next March this is a great opportunity to taste some fine Chilean wines closer to home! Or if you will be joining the tour come along and prepare your palate!
