Galvin La Chapelle 1 Michelin Star - Taste of Summer Menu £55

Galvin La Chapelle has held 1 Michelin star for several years. It's situated in a Grade II listed former school with a magnificent vaulted room, which gives it a wonderful setting as a glamorous brasserie with a buzzy atmosphere without being overly loud. It’s a family affair, with Jeff Galvin in the kitchen and brother David responsible for sourcing produce at the market. Cooking is classic French with a light, modern touch.

Galvin have a special Taste of Summer Menu which offers a glass of bubbles and a 5 course menu for £55 (+14.5% service charge). The menu is fixed and no substitutions are allowed, so please check that the menu suits any dietary requirements you may have. Here is the menu:

Honeymoon melon consommé Dashi pickled melon, smoked trout roe, coriander oil

Duck liver royal Sauternes, poached peach, cocoa soil

Free range chicken ballotine Cantabrian anchovy, bell pepper, cherry tomato

Fermented cherries sorbet Nasturtium oil, piment d'espelette

Amalfi lemon cheesecake Mascarpone, coffee, liquorice

WINES: You can have 4 matching wines for an additional £34, or there is a good selection of wines by the glass or bottle. For those who wish to share bottles I will suggest a few selections from their list.

2 TABLES: Due to demand I have booked a 2nd table. Each table is for 6 people, the first at 7pm and the 2nd at 7.15 pm

The pre-pay for this event is £43 which covers:-
- £40 credit towards your food bill
- meetup/paypal fees

On the day you will pay the balance of your food and drinks bill.

Please note that Meetup now charge an additional fee to attendees on top of the price which the Organiser sets. This fee is paid direct to Meetup and is beyond our control.

REFUND POLICY: The 'ticket price' of £43 includes a non-refundable £3 for paypal/meetup fees. If you cancel by Saturday 9th latest AND there is someone on the waiting list who pays for your place you will get a refund of £40.
