Lunch at 1 Michelin Star Hide

A hide is where ornithologists conceal themselves to watch the birdlife. Ollie Dabbous' Mayfair bolthole 1 Michelin Star HIDE is an urban oasis from the bustling world, hidden in plain sight. Spread over three floors, two light-filled dining rooms are set around a breath-taking central staircase and enjoy tranquil views over Green Park. Menus showcase the very best seasonal offerings, largely sourced from a close network of small farmers & suppliers from across the UK.

I have booked the lunch menu which offers a glass of sparkling wine and 3 courses for £58 (+15% service charge) Here is the current menu:

STARTERS
Chalk stream trout tartare, lovage, apple & puffed amaranth cracker OR Crispy pork belly on charcoal baked flatbread, pickled cucumber & crushed green herb dressing OR
Heritage tomatoes, goat’s curd, basil & summer berries tartlet Steamed

MAINS
Cornish plaice with nasturtium, lemon balm & crushed broad beans OR Hand-cut lasagna with tender rabbit, summer vegetables, marjoram & maitake (Supplement £8) OR
Barbecued courgettes, fresh peach, ricotta & pickled roses

DESSERTS
Lime sundae, bay leaf custard & toasted meringue OR
Warm chocolate tart & oak ice cream OR
Selection of cheeses, seasonal fruit loaf & chutney Supplement (£15)

WINE: Hide has an excellent wine list and they also have access to all the wines stocked at nearby wine emporium Hedonsim. I will suggest some wines we can share, so this lunch is suited to those who are happy to drink wines with their meal.

The pre-pay for this event is £53 which covers:-
- £50 credit towards your food bill
- meetup/paypal fees

On the day you will pay the balance of your food and drinks bill.

Please note that Meetup now charge an additional fee to attendees on top of the price which the Organiser sets. This fee is paid direct to Meetup and is beyond our control.

REFUND POLICY: The 'ticket price' of £53 includes a non-refundable £3 for paypal/meetup fees. If you cancel by Wednesday 3rd latest AND there is someone on the waiting list who pays for your place you will get a refund of £50.
