Rounders Poker moved to facebook

Time to say good-bye 🧡

We are closing due to low interest and participation from players and hosts. The operational model here is no longer valued or wanted.

Born during the glory days of the Poker Boom, Rounders Poker provided a single site for many poker home games across the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles. But over the years hosts have taken their games private. Our last popular host has elected to do the same.

Now, functionally, this site is like a shopping mall without any stores so it is simply not feasible to continue while paying the Meetup subscription fees for a platform that has become an empty can.

After the government forced Covid lockdowns and almost two years of isolation people are socializing less, people no longer want to host and home game players have found playing online is an easy and convenient alternative.

Many members have made lasting friendships here and some even found marriage. My primary aspiration for this group was fun and friendship. I own fond memories and made many friends here I will always remember.

But we are still alive and running, we just look different. 😍

We have an active community in the online streets and recently moved to GGPoker's ClubGG the largest online community in the world and a fantastic change for us away from the chronically dysfunctional PokerStars platform which is certain to get worse. We have a facebook group that continues to serve as a our community hub for group news and discussion. If our LIVE games return they will be posted on facebook.

We are still around, just in a different space.

See you there 🙂

With Warm Regards,
Scotty Wayne

This site will remain up to serve as a guidepost to where we went and why and will be gone January 2027 when the current paid subscription expires.
