Body Heat (1981) - Discussion - "You shouldn't wear that body."

We're coming back stateside this week as we continue with our summer movie theme and head to steamy south Florida for Lawrence Kasdan's Neo-noir classic Body Heat (1981). A modern day update of the classic film Double Indemnity (another favorite of mine), this one boasts an all-star cast including Kathleen Turner in her break out role and my favorite complex legal concept, the rule against perpetuities (RAP). If you ask nicely I will attempt to explain it...riveting stuff.
Whether you come for the legal tutorial or to talk about one of the best Neo-noir thrillers out there, it's sure to be a good time. See you there!
