Chaat & Chat: A Mumbai youth’s take on India

Details

Bombay (now Mumbai) is more than just the commercial capital of India. It is home to people from all over India. There is Bollywood, old British architecture, and even older monuments representing the range of religions and cultures. There are sprawling shanties and glitzy high-rises—often side by side. Most of all, Bombay has indomitable people who brave the crowds, the monsoon, and political shenanigans, continuing to show that keeping business running is more important than giving in to divisions.

We have a guest who grew up in Bombay during the 2000s. Come join us for a conversation—ask anything you're curious about regarding youth culture in the city and across India.

We'll also have a variety of "Chaats" - classic Bombay beach and street snacks: Bhel Puri, Pani Puri, Pav Bhaaji, and more. Expect to spend around 10 to 12$. The venue is Delhi 6 Restaurant, about 200 meters walk from Exit E of Little India MRT.

We are reserving some slots for members of the SG Geopolitical Discussions group, so seats are limited.
