Joaquin Miller - Redwood Regional Park Loop (5.5 miles)

Join Randy for a well shaded hike along the meandering trails of Joaquin Miller and Redwood Regional Parks. We will start with a stunning overlook of downtown Oakland, and continue our hike through majestic Redwood groves, stopping for lunch at Huckleberry picnic area in the Robert's Grove. The hike will be about 5.5 miles and 900ft elevation gain. This will be a loop hike and will begin at the Joaquin Miller Ranger Station parking lot. Parking is free, and there are restrooms at the hike starting point and lunch stop. Friendly dogs on a leash are welcome on this hike.

We will hike at an average to slower pace (25-30 mins per mile) so we can enjoy the experience while we get the heart pumping. Please update your RSVP if you cannot attend, so as many people as possible can enjoy this hike.
